Commitment Ceremonies
As an NYC life-cycle celebrant, I will help you create a commitment ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple.I will give you a questionnaire that asks about how you fell in love, what makes you laugh about the other, and what you love most about your partner. We can add readings and poems for your friends and family to read and help celebrate.Together we will create a day you and your loved ones will never forget.
Additionally, once same-sex weddings are legalized in New York (fingers crossed!) I will be happy to perform your wedding for free.
Civil Unions
As
a certified celebrant and ordained non-denominational minister in the
Tri-state area, I can perform civil unions which are legal in New
Jersey and Connecticut. They are also legally recognized in New York
State by state agencies including insurance and health care agencies. Through unlimited email and phone contact, we will craft a civil union you will remember and reflect on for years to come.
Same-Sex Weddings
I am so excited that Connecticut has legalized same-sex weddings as of October 10, 2008. I would be happy to talk to you and your partner about creating the wedding of your dreams!
