About Kelly
My goal is to give you a ceremony that shows your unique
personality and style. Be it a wedding, commitment or civil union, vow-renewal,
baby naming, house blessing, pet ceremony, or funeral, I want to create a
ceremony that your family and guests will say truly reflects who you are as a
couple or individual.
I discovered celebrancy while planning my own wedding. Along
with my husband, I started to write our ceremony and found a great celebrant to
perform it. From this experience, I fell in love with the idea of creating
ceremonies that celebrate the most memorable moments in our lives in a uniquely
personal way. I was so happy with the
way our ceremony turned out that I wanted to bring that same kind of joy to
others. I then immediately set out to become a celebrant myself.
I am a certified life-cycle celebrant with the Celebrant
Foundation & Institute, a registered wedding officiant, and an ordained
Non-denominational minister through the Universal Brotherhood Movement. My
background in psychology, religion, and education gives me an understanding of
many different religions and faiths from all over the world and helps me create
ceremonies for people of all faiths and cultures.
Ultimately, I want to make sure you are getting
the ceremony that you want. Each ceremony is unique and precious because we
build it together. Using my skills as a
professionally trained writer and actor, I will give you a ceremony that
reflects who you are and tells your story, is beautifully written, and elegantly performed. We will
work closely together with unlimited contact through email or on the phone to
make sure you’re getting exactly the ceremony you want.
I currently live with my husband and our dog in New York
City. I love to travel and will perform your ceremony wherever you need. I look forward to meeting with you and can’t
